What is Bahrain?
Bahrain, meaning 'Two Seas, is an island in the Middle East and is part of a collection of islands known as The Gulf Islands, more officially known as the UAE ( United Arab Emirates). It became an independent country in the 1960s, and has been regarded as 'one of the cheapest places to work and live', and the status of 'most culturally diverse location in the UAE'. It has achieved this status through it's vast history, it's unique landscape and it's brilliant cuisine, and is one of 'the greatest holiday destinations for tourists', offering locations such as the souq and the Bahrain Fort.
